Due to the popularity of my "What to Get Her for Christmas" post last year I thought I'd write another one for Christmas 2014. I know women can sometimes be quite hard to shop for, plus the beauty and fashion industry can be such a mind field if you haven't got a clue! So here it is! My little guide for all you struggling men out there (and women!) who just can't seem to find that perfect something for the ladies in your lives.
(From left to right)
Essie Nail Polish (HERE)
I think it's safe to say that most women LOVE nail polish. And every woman who loves nail polish will certainly love Essie as they have such a beautiful selection of nail colours. They also do some really sweet little sets which are the perfect stocking fillers or individual presents. If you're not sure what colour she likes best then I'd recommend going for something of the pink/ purple variety!
Urban Decay - Naked 1 Palette (HERE)
This is basically the queen of all eyeshadow palettes. It has every shade you could possibly need and enables a woman to create a multitude of gorgeous eye looks. Urban Decays eye shadows are fantastic quality too; perfectly pigmented and easy to apply wet or dry. If you know your girlfriend loves makeup but have no idea what to get her then you can't go wrong with this!
Rose Gold Zoeva Brush Set (HERE)
I'm sure the men reading this are thinking these could just as easily be paint brushes but trust me on this one! As a set they pretty much have everything a woman could possibly need to apply her makeup with style. Plus they're rose gold. I need say no more!
Marc Jacobs - Daisy Delight (HERE)
Marc Jacobs has created some of my favourite scents such as Lola, Dot and Honey but I think Daisy Delight is probably one of his best "all rounders". The Daisy perfume collection as a whole is such a subtle selection of scents; the perfect choice if you're not sure what scent she likes best.
Rose Gold Pendant - BaubleBar (HERE)
Pendant and coin necklaces are really in this year and I think these personalised ones from BaubleBar are some of the best. They also come in silver and yellow gold so you can cater for all tastes. Plus you can personalise them with initials of your choice to add that really special touch!
Jo Malone Candles and Perfume (HERE)
If you haven't smelt a Jo Malone candle yet then you're missing out. With scents such as Lime & Basil and Wood Sage & Sea Salt you know you're in for a treat! These candles are seriously high end but so worth the price tag. They come in beautiful packaging too so you know your gift will look perfect for Christmas!
Liz Earl - Cleanse, Tone and Moisturise Sets (HERE)
Liz Earl has some gorgeous gift sets on her website at the moment, alongside some seriously good sounding Christmas inspired face washes. I'm personally loving the sound of the Orange and Mint Hot Cloth Cleanser! If you're looking for the perfect gift set then check out her Botanical Skin Saviours set or alternatively her Healthy, Beautiful Skin Kit. Because let's be honest, we all want some of that!
Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush Palette (HERE)
If the Naked 1 palette is the queen of eyeshadow palettes then this is the king of the blushers. These aren't just any kind of blusher either, they boast to be able to illuminate the skin and provide you with a radiant glow. With three shades to choose from she'll never get bored, plus they come in gorgeous shiny gold packaging. Everyone likes shiny gold things around Christmas time!
Aromatherapy Associates - Miniature Bath Oil Collection (HERE)
We all love a bath during winter and with this collection of bath oils, you'll be wanting to have one every day! Each little bottle allows the user to have one unique bath or shower experience, perfect if she loves aromatherapy scents! I love the packaging these little bottles come in too; I think it looks really expensive and classic.
I hope this guide has helped you if you're struggling to find something special for the ladies in your lives! If it's the men you're struggling to shop for though don't fret! I'm going to be doing a "What to Get Him for Christmas" guide next week ;)
If you have any other recommendations then please make sure you comment below; I'd love to know what you all plan on getting too!
Lots of Love,
DML
