I know pastels aren't shades you'd normally associate with autumn but without wanting to sound too cringey... They are so in this season! I'm pretty happy about this too as they are my favourite shades to wear. Because pastels were such a huge Spring theme I'm thinking most people have at least one item left over in their wardrobe from the warmer months so with this in mind, I wanted to show you how they can be re styled, refreshed and dragged elegantly into this season!
Floral Leggings - Very
You might recognise these from my "How to Wear Florals" post back in Summer. Instead of a white floaty top I matched these with my new Primark roll neck jumper, a long black coat from Zara and also my H&M bowler hat. I love this look; I think the floral trousers really make the outfit that little bit different, plus I'm still warm and cosy!
Light Yellow Jumper - Very
This was actually featured in my Spring LookBook a few months ago! I bought this jumper from Very's autumn collection so it's not exactly recycled BUT it's such a spring/ summer shade! Certainly not your usual colour for this time of year. I love wearing this with my black skinny jeans and some ankle boots but here I chose to match it with my Primark polka dot shorts and a white collared shirt instead.
Pink Over Sized Coat - Boohoo
A few months ago I was lucky enough to go to a Boohoo event in London where they gifted me this gorgeous coat. I love the colour so much! Plus it's really warm and cosy; perfect for autumn. I match this with light blue jeans and either my rose gold Vans or my white Converse.
Light Purple Fluffy Jumper - Primark
I bought this back in Spring right when they were starting to bring the chunky knit jumpers out. This is one of the warmest jumpers I own so it's ideal for the colder months! I wear this with so many things; baggy ripped jeans, black skinnies or even an a-line short skirt. It's really versatile and goes so well with this floral necklace also from Primark.
