Angel perfume by Thierry Mugler pretty much sums up my childhood. That's why I was so excited when they got in contact with me asking if I'd like to collaborate with them on their new campaign: Angel Candy. They very kindly sent me the cutest little box of treats which included a sample size bottle of the fragrance as well as two gorgeous meringues (er... YUM!)
The campaign involved me creating an Instagram mood-board. The mood-board was to include images which encapsulate the emotions I feel when wearing the perfume, something I actually found quite easy to do seeing as the perfume is so familiar to me. As soon as I opened the bottle and took my first sniff, I was instantly transported back to my youth; secondary school days spraying the scent a little too much allll over my school uniform!
The scent is certainly bold, and definitely not on the fruity/ acidic side either. Maybe more musky? (My perfume naivety is definitely showing isn't it?!) Think of a more extreme Dior Cherie and you're partly there.... With added omph and maybe even sweeter. It's not a perfume I would normally gravitate towards but the scent is definitely intriguing and it certainly gets your attention.
