K A Y A Pure - Some Seriously Yummy Scrubs

A few weeks ago I received what I can only describe as the nicest smelling post I've ever been sent! I couldn't believe it when I opened the letter box! This waft of mint and coffee just escaped out and I literally had no idea what it was. I then remembered a conversation I'd had with my friend Lia a few days before; she had mentioned her friend Lauren and told me I needed to try her hand made, all natural coffee scrub. I'm all for natural and organic beauty products so when she offered me the chance to try a few samples I immediately jumped at the opportunity. A few days later and voila! Lovely smelling post arrived. Much to my confusion!

So the samples arrived in these silver fresh seal bags which are fantastic for re use. The ingredients list was on the front too so no question marks surrounding what I was about to use. I like that; it seriously sucks when you receive a sample and literally have no idea what's in it especially if you're going to be putting it on your skin. Transparency is key!

I started off with the salt foot scrub. When I opened the packet I was instantly hit with a gorgeous peppermint smell which was a great first impression. I decided to use this in the bath so I could soak my feet for a few minutes prior to use, as advised in the guidelines. After a few minutes soaking I rubbed a generous amount into my feet and then left it on for 5 minutes to allow the peppermint oil to soak into the skin. It works well at softening the feet and the peppermint leaves you with a tingling sensation which is definitely enjoyable! The thing I love most about this product is the fact you can actually SEE the ingredients while you're using it. It definitely makes you feel at ease and really shows the organic and natural nature of the scrub. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who's looking for a natural salt scrub that leaves your skin soft and hydrated. So that's got to be everyone right?!

Next we have the coffee scrub. Now if you haven't heard of one of these before then you're in the same position I was about three weeks ago?! I'd never seen anything like it in the shops so when Lia recommended this one by K A Y A I was all over it. The coffee they use is ground coffee, ethically sourced of course, and it's mixed with salt and peppermint oil so it smells divine. Using it on your skin is a really surreal experience; it's not every day you'll find yourself scrubbing coffee everywhere but it really does work a treat! It leaves your skin lovely and soft and super hydrated courtesy of the peppermint oil. The only thing I will say is I don't recommend using it in the bath..... Unless you're happy to bathe in gritty, coffee filled water once you're done scrubbing!

All in all I'd definitely recommend these products and the company as a whole. I think it's so important to know what you're putting on your skin; let's be honest guys, no one likes chemicals and our skin deserves the best in organic and natural products. If you're interested in buying your own full size packs of these then head on over to their website www.kayapure.com. I don't think they are quite up and running with their online store yet but I'm sure it's not far off. Lauren can also be contacted on Instagram (@kayapure) so make sure you drop her a line if you have any questions.

Happy scrubbing!

Lots of Love,
DML
