It's been a while since I've posted something makeup related so I thought I'd show you my current favourite makeup look. It's something a little lighter than normal. Slightly dewy and perfect for those days you want to look awake and fresh (so every day yeah?)
I added a really bright lip to this as I've been loving this specific lipstick by L'Oreal in the shade VIP. It's a great matte corally pink and goes so well with loads of my outfits as I've been donning a lot of monochrome recently.
So. What's on my face?!
Foundation - Estee Lauder Double Wear Light
Wow this stuff is good. I'm a natural foundation girl so the thought of something called "double wear" being on my skin made me shudder. However this stuff is super light and so lovely and dewy. It matches my skin tone perfectly and has amazing lasting power. It's my new holy grail foundation and I'm SO glad I found it.
Concealer - Collection Lasting Perfection
With the Double Wear foundation being medium coverage I don't find I need masses of concealer. However I do like to lighten my under eye area and I find this is fab at brightening and concealing those pesky bags.
Bronzer - L'Oreal Glam Bronze
Same as always. Can't say I've ever used anything else but I'm definitely a "if it aint broke..." kinda girl. A really natural, non orangey bronzer I find this is perfect all year round and works well with my paler skin.
Blusher - NARS Deep Throat
Something a bit new for me! I invested in this NARS blusher a few weeks back and haven't been able to put it down. It's a lovely golden pink and the perfect natural blush in my opinion.
Brows
A bit of a combination going on here. Soap & Glory's Archery Pen to fill in the gaps and the L'Oreal Brow Plumper to give them a bit of volume. I love both of these as they don't give a nasty "pencilled in" look but still make me look like I have eyebrows. I like to look like I have eyebrows.
Lashes - Maybelline's Lash Sensational Mascara
My new favourite! This stuff is seriously good and considering I'm a major high end mascara girl I'm surprised at how impressed I am. Think looooonnnggg lashes, nicely separated with volume that lasts. For half the price.
Lips - L'Oreal Colour Riche in VIP
As I mentioned before I've been wearing this L'Oreal lipstick a lot recently. It's creamy, matte and long lasting. And I think it's the perfect vibrant shade for spring. I think it might have sold out though as I can't find it anywhere now?! Madness.
