Ah lipstick. My favourite thing in the world. Alongside clothes, handbags, good food and my guinea pigs.
I have a quite a few favourite lipsticks but I thought I'd talk specifically about this one as it's something I've been looking for for a while now; the perfect purply red. The shade itself is called 107 and it's from the Kate Moss by Rimmel collection. The lovely Zoe Sugg raves about it which not only means it's going to be good quality but also means it's super hard to come by. Those of you who follow Zoella on YouTube will know that anything she talks about on her channel flies off the shelves in record time so getting my hands on this was pretty damn hard! However I did manage to grab the last purchasable (read not opened, tested and then put back) one in the Brighton Superdrug store and I haven't looked back since.
This is the kind of lipstick that even non lipstick lovers like. I've had so many compliments on it and not only from my fellow beauty lovers. It's a matte shade so there's no shine to it but I quite like adding a bit of gloss over the top after an hour or two just to soften it up and extend it's wear. The shade itself is perfect for all tones and hair colours and compliments so many outfit styles. I love to wear it to dress up a casual skinny jean/ stripy top combo at the weekends.
