I know it's still August but there's nothing wrong with being prepared. Over the last few years I've left choosing my Autumn/ Winter essentials until the last minute, resulting in me trudging around the shops in the mid November rain struggling to find anything I liked. But this year I wanted to be sorted by October and I wasn't prepared to miss out on the good stuff on the high street. Which I'm just going to say, is selling out SUPER fast!
I found this black coat in Zara after a recommendation from a friend. I actually bought a coat from Primark about 10 minutes before but then found this one and fell in love. Obviously the Primark one is going back for a refund; sometimes there's just no point scrimping and this coat was the exact one I'd been looking for!
The scarf was a last minute purchase and is also from Zara. I love tartan prints and it's just so soft. Plus it's huge so will be lovely and snuggly on those cold winter evenings.
The boots are from ASOS. I actually have a pair of Chelsea boots which are quite similar, but I loved the buckle detailing on these plus they had them in my exact size (4.5). I'm hoping the cut out around the ankle means they'll be wearable for next Spring too? We'll see!
