How to Feel Better from the Inside Out

IMG_4814

If you're not feeling healthy inside then it's going to be harder to look healthy on the outside. We all tend to concentrate on the appearance of our skin and how we look to others which means we tend to neglect our insides. I wanted to take a look at a few things we can change in our lifestyles to feel better from the inside out!

Drink More Water
I suck at drinking water. I might get through a pint a day and that just ins't enough. Not drinking enough can cause so many problems including headaches and cramps however drinking more water can give you great skin and loads of energy. Make sure you ease yourself in gently if you're planning on drinking more water on a daily basis.. Otherwise you might find yourself spending more time in the loo than you planned!

Beat the Bloat
There's loads of food out there that can leave you feeling bloated and carbs can be the worst! I find it's best to avoid eating them too late in the day. I also try to eat the right kinds of carbs, replacing white bread and pasta with wholemeal bread and pasta as a starting point. I try to monitor how I feel after the food I eat so I can see if some foods make me feel worse than others.

Cut Down on Alcohol
I'm trying to drink a little less at the moment, not that I'm a huge drinker. I used to have glass of wine or two every night but I started to find it harder to get a good nights sleep. Instead I've decided to drink less in the week. I've also replaced my wine with gin and slimline tonic; it's a little healthier than wine!

Targeted Treatments
Invasive treatments aren't for everyone. I personally think that beauty comes from within and am I huge advocate of natural beauty and loving yourself for who you are. That being said, there's people in the world who are interested in treatments and want to see dramatic changes. It's an option, don't get me wrong, but it's not a quick fix. All you're doing is giving yourself a head start but it doesn't mean you're going to have to work any less once the treatments over. In fact, you'll have to work doubly hard! Having treatments with a Vaser Doctor can provide you with great results, but please think long and hard about whether or not you really need it.

Have any of you got any top tips on how to feel better from the inside out?
